Daily Tasks

1. Appointment Management
   • Efficiently book appointments to ensure a smooth workflow.
2. Hair Cutting and Styling
   • Cut and trim hair according to client specifications.
   • Provide a variety of hair treatments, including waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages.
3. Supervisory Roles
   • Oversee other hairstylists and staff.
   • Guide and supervise apprentices and students in training.
4. Hair and Scalp Analysis
   • Analyze the condition of hair and scalp.
   • Provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments.
5. Creative Styling
   • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses for coloring.
   • Offer hair extensions and style wigs and hairpieces.

Qualifications and Certifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate
• 5 years of experience or equivalent
• Hairstylist Trade Certification
• Hairstyling Red Seal Certificate
• Hairstylist Licence
